The FCBEscola will celebrate the 2nd FCBEscola International Tournament Las Americas in the Dominican Republic this year! The tournament will take place in Punta Cana from December 15th - 17th where the great sports experience of FC Barcelona and one of the most acclaimed tourist destinations in the Caribbean will unite. This year we will be taking teams from across Canada to the event for what will be a great opportunity to put your skills to the test against various FCBEscola Academies from around the world.
The tournament is open to all players currently registered in our academy one of our academies in Canada as well as players who attended our summer camps this year. The selection process will be on a first-come first-serve basis, so we recommend reserving your spot soon as space for the tournament is limited.

All the players, staff, and accompanying family members will stay at the Paladium Resort located in the well known Cap Cana. All players will be supervised by our staff members at all times.
Transportation will be provided to and from the fields where the tournament will be held. Players will have the option of rooming with their accompanying families or, in case you are not travelling with accompanying family members, room with a teammate.
Please note that our staff will be responsible for the players up until December 18th. If you are planning on staying until after this date please be aware that all arrangements will be the family's responsibility.

The whole tournament is focused on a single stage with different recreational activities, a very dynamic match
schedule for not having long waits.
Games will be played according to the FIFA rules. The team that scores more goals receives 3 points, 2 points awarded for a draw and 1 for a loss.
Maximum of 14 players. All players must play in each game. Teams must use the designated space to warm up.
Each match will have a duration of 25 minutes, except for the finals that will have a duration of two parts of 20 minutes.
Six fields football 7 and two fields football 11,natural grass fields in an perfect conditions.
Rooms equipped for training activities in door and seminars, Hydration points for players, Climate-controlled tent for food service
All coaches, staff and instructors will speak Spanish and English. French speaking staff will also be present at the tournament.

For the tournament we will offer two travel options in total. The first travel package is for players travelling with their families. The second option is for those players who want to travel with the team. See below for more information:
The Family travel option is for players who would like to arrange their own flights to Punta Cana. This package includes everything except the flights, we will set a meeting point at the hotel in Punta Cana where all the players and families in this option will meet the rest of the group.
This option includes the full experience of the tournament as well as all the flights to Punta Cana. Players who choose this option will have everything already paid for and will only have to worry about any personal expenses. Please keep in mind that all flights in the Team Travel option will depart from Toronto. This means that players will have to make arrangements to meet in Toronto for the departure of the flight.

All players and accompanying families will need to pay a pre-registration deposit of $400 to reserve their spot. Once the teams have been confimed we will let you know so you can complete the registration. This will be done before September 25th.
